The Zavalla Prairie Community Connections organization (ZPCC) will be hosting a non-partisan candidate forum at the Zavalla ISD Cafeteria on April 12, 2025 at 6pm. As there are no City of Zavalla candidates for this election cycle, the candidate forum will feature only those candidates running for Zavalla ISD School Board. According to the official ballot for the election there are three 3yr term seats up for grabs and there are seven candidates vying for the three positions. In addition, there is one 2yr term seat open and there are two candidates running for that position.
All candidates have been invited to attend the forum where they will each have 2 minutes to introduce themselves and explain why they are running. This will be followed by preselected questions they will draw at random and have a set timed response. The questions come from different sources including some being submitted by Zavalla district voters.
