A candidate forum was hosted by Zavalla Prairie Community Connections organization on Saturday. All nine candidates for the 4 open seats were invited to attend. Candidates Jackson Kotz and Jaime West participated in answering questions. The answers showed the candidates have a good understanding of the role they would be undertaking, if elected, and their commitment to serving the community.
Early voting starts April 22nd at the former High School library on Zavalla ISD campus. Election Day is May 3rd. Local elections are often decided by a small amount of votes so turn out and voter participation is crucial.
