ZAVALLA, TX – Early voting for the Zavalla Independent School District (ZISD) School Board Election begins today, giving local residents the opportunity to shape the future of Zavalla schools. With nine candidates vying for four open seats, this is a pivotal election for our community.
Early voting runs from April 22–25 and again April 28–29, with polling hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. All voting will take place at the ZISD Administration Building, located in the old School Library Room.
Election Day is set for Saturday, May 3rd, with polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the same location.
With a large field of candidates and key decisions ahead for our school district, every single vote counts. Community members are encouraged to take the time to vote, as even a few ballots can determine the outcome in local elections.
To help voters make informed decisions, Candidate Forum recordings are available on both the Zavalla ISD social media pages and the official school website at www.zavallaeagle.com.
Election duties are being coordinated by Wuanesa Herrington, former City of Zavalla Secretary and a long-time resident with deep roots in the community.
